PRESCHOOL

TRI- COUNTY HEAD START 

ROL is a host site for Tri-County Head Start, a federally funded early childhood preschool. Parents and students utilize the south entrance to the building with great care for security for all.

It is open to any Berrien County resident whose child will be 4, but not 5, by September 1 of the current school year. The sessions are offered Monday-Thursday from 8:25am-3:30pm.

For those families that meet the State of Michigan criteria for the Tri-County Head-Start  Program, preschool is available at no charge. Program goals are:

•  Skills and concepts for reading, writing, math and science 
•  Acceptance and understanding 
•  Positive attitudes toward learning 
•  Listening and speaking skills 
•  How to work with others 
•  Music, movement, drama and art 
•  Gross motor and fine motor skills 
•  Good practices for health, safety and nutrition
